Just completed is this attractive Chichester Cathedral weddings brochure. Designed and printed in an 8 page roll fold A5 format on an uncoated paper stock, the brochure has an upmarket, contemporary feel, in keeping with the services that are on offer.
Profile Design were commissioned by the Cathedral to submit design proposals and recommendations for this important weddings brochure. There were a number of formats and sizes considered and design proposals produced for, but the 8 page A5 roll fold format quickly became the favoured option. Good photography and clean typography combine with an uncluttered layout to create a user friendly product.

We felt that the brochure would benefit from being printed on an uncoated paper, and having supplied the client with other design and print examples profile design have created recently, they quickly agreed. Uncoated paper being far more absorbent tends to darken and flatted images, it is essential that pre-press all images go through the process of being adjusted to compensate for this process, ensuring all photos reproduce crisply and brightly. Part of our responsibility as designers is to understand a vast array of print processes, materials, special finishes, and technical possibilities and pitfalls and advise our clients accordingly.
