Profile were contacted by Jo at JW European to create a logo/brand based on the existing verdino brand and incorporating the JW colourscheme.
About the business
The company are based in Solihull and are a major wholesaler of fruit and vegetables in europe. Following several sets of proposals following themes based on both globe and leaf motifs the above version won through! JW European Ltd is a family business, established in 1994 by Peter Birch and David Langmead. Peter and David’s experience of all aspects of Fresh Produce across a number of businesses, is a continuing source of great strength for JW European.
Their focus has always been on European sales and supply of leafy salads. Concentrating on Italian salad and herb products, built on excellent reputation with UK customers across the last twenty years. The Italian office is between Padua and Chioggia with sales in mainland Europe. The team has a very effective presence on the ground in Italy within its select grower base. Ther UK team has well over 100 years of experience working with retailers, processors and wholesalers. They also work with Spanish, French and UK growers and from the UK office.
JW European represents long standing and wide ranging knowledge of the fresh produce industry from agronomy through to logistics and marketing.
JW European offers its customers a supply chain built around efficiency and, most importantly, freshness. This represents excellent customer service which is able to react swiftly to change.
We also employ two agronomists to make sure that JW European and its customers are aware of all that is new and interesting. Consumer trends throughout Europe and further afield are monitored and new products constantly proposed. We employ two qualified lead auditors in our Italian office. With their wide and detailed knowledge of European technical schemes, JW European is able to assure all customers of the highest level of safety and standards. We have a passion for herbs, especially those grown in Italy
