23/01/11Lambert Barnard Panels
Painted by Lambert Barnard (1485 – 1567) the Chichester panels have been in need of restoration for some time. It is most likely they date from approximately 1533 -1536 and are of national importance, being amongst the only surviving examples of Tudor painting on such a large scale.
Following the design and production of several fundraising brochures. Profile Design were commissioned early in January to design and produce a hoarding to surround the work/viewing platform in Chichester Cathedral. The design featured the panel itself with highlighted points of particular interest.
The Chichester Cathedral Restoration and Development Trust were thrilled with the end result and in particular the attention to detail and quality of the printed boards and the precision of the fitting.
