Chichester Website Design
Just live is the new Claudine Ickeringill website design, Profile have been working with closely with Claudine to create this fresh, responsive website to life.
Claudine Ickeringill is a well established optician in Chichester that has a well deserved reputation for excellence. Claudine stocks the most prestigious brand names (some exlusively in Chichester) including; Chanel, Prada, Lindberg, Cutler to name a few, so when commissioning such an important showcase for her business it was important to get it right. Claudine approached Profile Design on recommendation, we listened to Claudines requirements and made several recommendations followed by a design proposal.
The site is clean and functional to allow the products to take centre stage, the site is responsive, as all the sites we now build are, allowing the site to adapt to the increasing preference for browsing on tablets and phones.
The new site has been well received and following some training on how to use the content management system should be regularly updated by the client.
Creating an exciting, vibrant site design often requires some bravery from the client. It is usual for all of us to be reticent about changing something established that seems to work. The previous brand style and website Claudine had was predominantly black with reversed out text, this was not only heavy in appearance but presumably for a site aimed at those with sight problems difficult to read as well! Claudine quickly agreed to go with a clean white design style, this created a light open feel to the site, complimented the photographic elements and allowed some subtle typography.
The finished product shows what can be achieved when you make some brave decisions and are open to advice or suggestions that previously you may not have considered.
